L'Essentiel de lavande cultivates their lavender and lavandin* fields in the Drôme Provençale. Natural essential oil declined for home, for well being and let yourself be surprised by the taste of lavender in herbal tea.

* lavandin is an hybrid yiel a cross between "lavande Fine" and "lavande Aspic".

Four generations of the same family have been working this lovely farm below the hills a short way west of Nyons, in Drôme Provençale. The appealing, modern farm shop offers appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône-Villages wines, highly prized AOC Nyons olives and olive oil, plus olive tapenade.
In season, delicious farm cherries and apricots are on sale, while the selection of jams, fruit juices and other products can be purchased year round.

All the family can have fun learning about the exceptional flora and fauna of the Drôme River by visiting the Ramières Nature Reserve on the banks of the Drôme downstream from Crest towards the Rhône at Allex. The station here has been turned into a welcoming nature centre. Enjoy the playful presentations lined up along its quays, including interactive games and ones testing your senses, then go exploring the nature reserve, which extends 10km along the valley, and covers some 346 hectares.
